About the film

Grey is a Dezbah Productions film rooted in reclamation and the deeply personal act of confronting generational trauma. Through a hybrid experimental form, the film follows Sage—a Native woman reckoning with the silent weight of her lineage, identity, and aging in an industry that values silence and perfection. Pulling a grey hair from her head, she unearths more than vanity—she confronts the violence woven into her bloodline. This film is a powerful expression of our mission: to create work that challenges, heals, and reflects the stories only we can tell.
