Off The Rez Media is a Native-led media arts platform rooted in truth-telling, resistance, and reclamation. Through film, education, and community storytelling, the work challenges harmful narratives, preserves Indigenous cultural memory, and amplifies voices too often left out of history.

Founded by filmmaker Regina Dezbah Simons (Diné, Nakoda, Dakota), Off The Rez Media creates space for Native creators, youth, and elders to share their stories through film, screenings, discussions, and educational work. Projects are developed intentionally and evolve based on community need, collaboration, and care.

Mission

To decolonize storytelling by uplifting Native voices in media and creating intentional spaces for truth, creativity, and connection.

Off The Rez Media creates films and educational work that elevate Native stories, challenge dominant narratives, and inspire social change through education, film, and media arts.
